Day One on the Internet

Your first day on the internet is usually very exciting. With dollar signs in your eyes, you are seeking out the best system to help you make money online.

Our goal here is to help show you how to accomplish what you want to accomplish.

The first step is to always get an idea of what you want to do. This requires a lot of reading and research. But don't make the mistake of getting bogged down in research.

Get an idea for what you might like to do.

If you are going to sell products or services, then you may very well need to add a phone number to your website, especially with a service site. Having said that many service companies don't offer phone numbers online, but some companies find great success by adding phone numbers to a website.

If you have an advertising style website, you won't be chained to your telephone during specific hours. But the top driver of traffic online is links to one's website and content. If you have content people like, they will come again and again.

So the challenge is to find the content that you can use on your website - make your own or find reprint content at places such as:
If you prefer to make your own content, it is as simple as having a story to tell, and telling it, such as I have done here.

When people are coming, you can offer advertising from sources such as:
Or you can offer affiliate products and services, such as those that are offered through:
  • and others...
I prefer offering affiliate programs. At $2 per free registration to $150 per sale, I make the majority of my advertising money by selling products and services through affiliate programs. With Google Adsense on more than 10,000 pages, I make about $200 per month. With affiliate programs on about 200 pages, I make about $800 per month.
